Electric vehicle pioneers, engineers today
Zytel was founded in 2007 within Zytech Group, in collaboration with the University of Zaragoza, to design and build electric vehicles when the sector barely existed. Our Gorila EV was included in the Ministry of Industry’s Plan MOVELE, and we also developed the Zylog, an electric delivery utility vehicle.
Today vehicles are built by the big manufacturers. We apply what we learned about batteries, BMS, structures and powertrains to engineering: we design BESS installations with BESS Industrial, calculate industrial components at engineering.zytel.es, provide vehicle and fleet-telematics engineering, and develop AI software with AIXC Research, the Zytech Group’s research lab.

BESS Industrial is the Zytech Group division for battery energy storage in Spanish industry. We design the complete installation: sizing, the battery management system (BMS) developed by Zytel, integration with your consumption and solar self-consumption, and commissioning, backed by Zytech Solar’s 400 MW+ experience.
